Free PO teardown
Send 3 real emailed POs. I'll turn them into draft Acumatica sales orders, then on a 15-minute call walk through what matched, what needed a rule, and what went to exception review.
I'll turn your POs into draft sales orders before the call.
Not a generic demo. I'll process your 3 real POs into draft Acumatica sales orders, then walk you through what extracted, what matched, what needed a rule, and what got flagged for review.
What you get
- Draft Acumatica sales orders created from your 3 POs before the call
- A walkthrough of what extracted cleanly from each PO—line items, quantities, ship-to
- Customer part number to SKU matching: what mapped automatically, what needed a rule
- UOM and pricing: where conversions worked, where they didn't
- Exception review: what got flagged for a person to look at, and why
- An honest answer on whether it's a fit for your setup and your PO volume
What I ask for
- Three real emailed POs from different customers, redacted however you like
- A short description of how you currently enter orders (manual retyping, partial automation, or something else)
- Your Acumatica version (Cloud or on-premise, and which release)
- About how many POs you receive by email per day or per week
Who this fits
- Fastener or MRO distributors in the Midwest
- You're on Acumatica (Cloud or on-premise)
- Customers send POs by email—PDF, Excel, or typed in the body
- You currently retype at least some orders because extraction or matching fails
Who it doesn't fit yet
- You're not on Acumatica. This is built for one ERP only.
- Your customers send orders through EDI only, with no emailed POs.
- You've already solved PO entry, though honestly I'd still like that call. You'd be the exception and I want to know how you did it.
What to expect on the call
Before the call, I'll process each PO you send: extract the line items, quantities, part numbers, and ship-to address, then create draft sales orders in a test Acumatica instance. If something is scanned at an angle or buried in an Excel sheet with merged cells, you'll see exactly how it handled that—or didn't.
On the call, we'll walk through the draft orders. Customer part numbers that matched to your SKUs automatically. Others that weren't in the cross-reference table yet and got flagged for review. Unit-of-measure conversions that worked (“case” to eaches) and ones that didn't. Pricing rules that applied and lines that needed clarification.
At the end I'll tell you honestly whether this looks like a fit. If your POs are clean and consistent, a simpler tool might be enough. If they're messy enough that someone is retyping them anyway, we'll talk about what it would take to automate the matching and let a person handle only the exceptions.
